Beauty in a good old hand drawing!

Today we've been talking about the importance of the best ways to communicate our design concepts and ideas to our wonderful clients and of course how we convey the all important plans and instruction to our wonderful contractors. 

While we do most of our plans on CAD Vectorworks, we do always love to come back to our sketchbooks and pencils.

The old art of hand drawing can never really be surpassed. Not only has it got beautiful fluidity, it has an energy unlike any computer generated draft or sketch.

Furthermore, a hand rendered drawing can have an enormous impact on functionality - in allowing us to get our ideas and information across as quickly and efficiently as possible. And as if we don't love the challenge of a good perspective drawing!
