A bespoke corten steel ladder-stairway, modelled from the client’s favourite lamp, brings us from the outdoor kitchen and entertaining terrace to the lush fragrant garden above. A profusion of roses and herbs surround sun-drenched benches. Water glides over aqua tiles on the terrace below. At night, the borders of the water feature and the ladder become lanterns to be enjoyed from both outside and within the house.
